To encourage JAN BHAGIDARI and to make the procedure of budget formation transparent, the Union Ministry of Finance has decided to invite suggestions for Union Budget 2017-18. As you may recall, this has been a regular feature on MyGov for the last two years.

Citizen from all walks of life are welcome to be a part of the budget making process. You can submit your suggestions either directly in the comments box or attach a PDF document.

Last year we had an overwhelming response with over 40,000+ suggestions for Union/ Railway budget. Several of the suggestions received on MyGov were incorporated in the last year’s budget. To know more about these, click here.

We seek your valuable ideas to continue the tradition of the Union Budget incorporating the citizens’ aspirations. The last date for submissions on this forum is 20th January, 2017.

Please incorporate slab system for benefit on interest on home loan E.g Upto 2 lakh benefit for Loan upto 25 lakh 2.5 lakh benefit for loan between 25 to 50 lakh 3 lakh benefit for loan more than 50 lakh

नकदी रहित लेनदेन व काले धन को रोकने के लिए हर दूकान किरयाना आदि पर दुकानदार का मोबाइल नंबर भीम स्टीकर के साथ बड़ा बड़ा चिपकाना अनिवार्य होना चाहिए। कुछ चुनिंदा जगहों पर 100% नकदी रहित बाजार होने चाहिएं। उन्हें सरकार बढ़ावा देने के लिए कर में छूट दे। नकदी में सामान खरीदने मंहगा हो। शैक्षिक पाठ्यक्रम में नकदी रहित व्यवस्था का प्रचार प्रसार होना चाहिए। काले धन वालों को देशद्रोह का दोषी माना जाये व सम्पति जब्त कर त्वरित कारवाई की जाये। मैं 5 साल से almost cashless हूँ और रहूँगा। सुधीर कुमार 8826480020

To ensure people adopt digital transaction, follow below points All digital transaction on any purchase will attract points to be stored in aadhar based system. The accumulated points can be redeemed as a cash back or provide any other government benefit. E.g.person having accumulated X points shall be given host of government benefits like quick redressal of any grievances and many others.The transaction performed will be used to deduct tax on each transaction. A platform is thus created.

I request the Finance minister to Introduce Direct Tax Code in the coming Budget in the overall interest of the Tax paying middle class. Hope, FM will show the same interest on DTC as is shown in the case of GST.

Govt must take initiative in less water-consuming crop cultivation instead of water consuming crops.This project to be implemented pilot basis in one village at every district. Also,incentivise farmers through high MSP for Who are shifting from water-intensive crops to less water consuming crops

Our country Need to Repair/Renovate All Major-Minor Ponds, Lakes in a wartime manner For water crisis problem and also create a separate fund for this project.Already funds are wasted in MNREGA (workers not working even 3hours in many states).So we must ensure water for every citizen

1.LTA-> Tourism-> Employment. 2.Electronic attendence at Govt school n hospital. 3. College with specific branch only like cyber security, drone, medical intrument instead of teaching everything. 4. Special package for sport. National level tournament with big prize. Team to seach talent from school. 5. Medical insurance to All. 6. Tax rebate to industry if they invest some amount on RnD. 7. Open portal to report hacking and award if some inform the issue. 8. Marketing of crop insuran
