Pursuit of Swachh Bharat also requires strengthening Public Health Services such as good drainage systems, absence of ponds, swamps and supply of good drinking water.. Mahatma Gandhi wrote oin 1925 as "A lavatory ust be as clean as a drawing room.I learnt this in the West I believe that many rules about cleanliness in lavatories are observed more scrupulously in the West than in the East"

India's nano-technology is very ancient one. Look at Iron-pillar at Qutab-minar-complex. It is a nano-tech. product. So too is Tipu Sultan's sword, that exhibits special characteristics, like non-rusting, razor-sharpness, weight-balance etc. Nano-tech. involves going up step-by-step akin to building wall brick by brick by deposition of elements/ compounds to build brand-new materials- OR, top-down like, removal of cements bags after bags stacked high, to create newer characteristic in materials.
