We bring to you this wonderful news that our city-Pasighat has been selected under 23 fast track cities by Govt. of India and we need to submit the revised plan by 15th April 2016. As we know that we worked very hard in our previous attempt however unfortunately we missed coming in the first 20 list of cities and finished at 39th rank - missing by just 3 points. Let us take this as a positive feedback that we were very close to winning it and were far ahead of many other big cities.

Looking ahead, we need to work on the gaps identified by Govt. of India to revamp the proposal. One of the key weaknesses identified is SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threat) analysis. Here, specifically, Weakness and Threat needs to be more elaborate. We have uploaded a discussion page on mygov portal about this aspect of proposal and need support of people of Pasighat to come up in big numbers and contribute towards this discussion. Let’s brace up for this challenge and work with renewed and reinvigorated spirit in the direction of making Pasighat a smart city.

awareness about the health effect of using alcohol, tobacco and drugs needs to be inculcated among the masses. A healthy way of life can be ensured by promoting the youths in games & sports in competitive arena at National and international level. A successful sports person lives a healthy and a wealthy life.

Emergency healthcare response system is available in the city. Only it has to be enhanced cater to the need of growing population.

There is high Alcohol, tobacco and drug consumption among the masses and especially the younger generation. This not only affects the health of the individual but may also crate law and order problem. The younger generation is the future of the nation and they need to be protected from these bad habits.

If jansuvidha Kendra , NIC, e-arik, e-pds, sarathi, vaahan etc are properly maintained then then we already have the right seeds of e-governance. Thanks to the discussion.

electric rikshaws for shorter commutes, water purifiers at public places,smart meters with differential pricing for electricty at different times of day, cctv cameras and smart policing, garbage segregation

Proper town planning , arrangements of hydro-electricity,spaciouse lands for establishment like roads,water supply,education,provision of employments to young generation,availability of all required facilities,spaciouse lands for disposing garbages etc.establishment of proper medical facilities.broading of roads for which we need lands and avoid accidents.proper town planning for every official establishment like education,medical,agricultural product and solution of unemployment problems

Most of the problem about pasighat people is they know so many thing, they also have sources to do that thing. But because of the poor technologies and their ignorance on the project which they had taken. If this thing will not on the pasighat people mind, then Pasighat would be more than a smart city to call, or we can say that Pasighat should be the great smart city of the India.

, I think ppls participation is the most important aspect. You may built something great up, but who will maintain it. Community cleaning drive and road ethics and littering ethics is important. If a community decides they wont litter or they would split up garden waste from recyclable, it would make a cleaner city. To start with fine imposition for litter could be a way. here "get well soon" kind of treatment with the offender can be another line of vigilance.

The meaning of smart city in pasighat is urbanization is rapidly growing trend fuelled by the government emphasis on the manufacturing and service seedon as our engine of its growth. Yet the centre of current service, state infrastur, human capital, service in pasighat is an very the place of urbanization

The main aim of Smart City is to ensure the basic infrastructures such as drinking water and increase the green cover in cities by developing parks,public transport.The infrastructure are:-water and electricity supply,sanitation and solid waste management,IT connectivity,E-governance and citizen participation,security and salty of citizens,smart solutions are the public information,electronical services,citizens engagement.
