Cleanliness is the biggest challenge our country in facing.Willingness of the people & hardwork of municipalities can together tackle this problem.We should have a centralized system where people can post pictures of people littering & municipal negligence. These people should be penalized with both monetary penalties & community service.Let people be the inspectors with camera.I know India is a huge country but cleaniness loving people would still be more than people who litter.

Janata ko sahi aur galat ka farak pata hai.Log jaante hai ki litter karna sahi nahi hai phir bhi public property ganda karte hai. Government ko action plan ke baare mein sochna chaiye. Fine karna chaiye jo log public property ganda karte hai.

on the lines of WTO - world toilet organisation, we should launch ITO- India Toilet organisation. The approach needs to differ between rural, urban poor and residual urban class. Community initiatives needed as well.

I think the focus of SWACHH BHARAT abhiyaan is wrong. We should focus on educating people on not throwing waste outside except designated places and 90% of job is done. What other countries are clean is because people don't litter. We should create advts focusing on making people ashamed and apologies and fined, if they are throwing trash outside their homes or cars.

I think OVER PACKAGING is an important factor leading to increased rate of waste generation. Different products like biscuits, chips & agarbatties are mostly over-packed nowadays. These products are mostly packed in plastic covers, causing pollution. for example, on the packs of some agarbatties, we can see the words, "3-in-1" , "5-in-1",etc. Infact, the number of units would be same as the number of units in an ordinary pack. the 3 or 5 covers used additionally just adds up to the amount of

Why not try it out in a city's any one garbage dumping site ? 2. Before monsoons when drains are cleaned for silt by a contractor,the same contractor should ensure its immediate removal from the site as it goes back into the drain in no time and blocks it again
