Following actions are now immediately required from Govt. in cities 1.Install dustbins in all streets and roads. 2.Impose heavy fines on those who litter the roads. 3.Increase the cleanliness staff and professionalise them 4.Make shopkeepers maintain Dustbins outside the shops with accountability 5.ANNOUNCE THE ABOVE MEASURES IMMEDIATELY IN A BIG WAY AND DEFINE THE AUTHORITIES

Use of animal vasectomy could help check there population. This could be a solution without hurting them. Same could be done with monkeys too. I have been to many places across India and this problem can be found at almost every place. In North India Pigs are one of the biggest reason for dirt on roads. Until and unless these animals are removed we cannot expect a clean India possible.It will not cost much but will have far reaching results. Thank You

The solution for the problem is very easy- there are many GoShalas all across the mathura and many of these work on donations and house cows and bulls who are old and could not give milk.We can take them there. At other places too similar steps can be taken. Removal of stray animals like pigs,monkeys,cows,buffalo,bulls,dogs who wander and are a big reason for road accidents and litter on roads. I am from mathura and monkeys and bulls are a big problem here. Every day many accidents happen when bulls use to hurt and even kill people walking on road. Many people specially who are old and foreign tourist fear from monkeys. You cannot move freely on roads of vrindavan if you are wearing glasses or have something in hand. continued..

The Swachh Bharat Mission has no chance of succeeding as long people keep spreading the garbage with impunity. It is disappointing to observe that even well educated throw out garbage on the streets. Follow the examples of US ($250 fine for littering)and Singapore by imposing stiff fines on offenders based on their income as done in Denmark. Moreover, Citizens should be induced to report the offenders with evidence, preferably pictoral by rewarding them with part of the fines collected.

After 6 months of the initiative by the PM for Swachh Bharat Mission nothing has been done at the ground level so far. The administrative officers have no perception and conception of such programmes. Further that, no administrative service cadre is fit for implementation of the same. The sanitation monitoring body must be of the central govt. with no interference of the state govt. There must be specialized organisations set up for the education and the enhancement of this mission.

In our area sweepers collect Rs.20/-each from all weekly market sellers for cleaning and people won’t mind to pay Rs.20/- same can be collected from shopkeepers also. Simultaneously, starting penalty of Rs.20/- by govt.receipt should be started for residents who spread garbage at public places. It can give job and clean India if implemented at large level. But more money can pinch them and Govt. may face opposition.
