suggestion, if it can reach PMO. Lots of construction sites - be it hospital, factory, cold chain, infrastructure, housing projects, mall, theater..etc... virtually anything which is under construction -- doesn't have toilets. People need to go out for relieving in open. Why it can't be a part of approval process that every construction site need to have a toilet FIRST before the first man reaches at project? should be a part of approval process. will take away a big shame. suggestions !

Why we see so many sweepers and rag pickers in our towns, but still our towns and cities are filthy. We ourselves should stop throwing garbage in public places.municipal workers should be there to pick up garbage from designated pick up points.

Local corporations and municipal corporations should also play important part in this mission of clean India. We as people cannot go out of house and clean our surroundings everyday. Our role is to ensure that we dont litter and spit at public spaces. As citizen we have to behave like civilized people and municipal corporation have to sincerely carry out their work of regularly picking of garbages, sanitising public toilets.I believe that we have system in place, but there is no will to fulfil duties

During graduation or post-graduation in Science field mostly plain science or Biotechnology or Microbiology, etc. students have to do project works. Cant the Government through its HRD Ministry or any source suggest project topics to these students. Like research on bioremediation, biodegradation, waste management, etc. this will help students work on topics imp. to the country and which would fetch good marks. As an incentive Govt. can announce prizes for best project work to assure dedication.

Very importantly, once the dirt is taken off the streets, where to dump ?? There are no dustbins available and no provision for disposal! Even if there dustbins, there aren't emptied and cleaned ! This is posing as a hindrance in the Swachh Bharath Program !

Spitting on the public roads should be strictly advised against. I regularly see auto drivers keep spitting everyplace they drive irrespective of the surroundings. I even see police officials doing the same.

It is very disturbing to see people dropping food wrappers, empty PET bottles, etc. on the streets. Everyone seems to be in a hurry to be rid of these objects and cannot wait till a garbage bin is available. Apart from providing dustbins, there have to be measures to dissuade people from littering. Wardens (in smart uniforms) should be provided with gloves and long tongs to pick up the litter. They should also have the right to instruct the litterbugs to carry the objects to the dustbins.
