Department of Telecommunications (DoT) through their letter dated 27th February 2019 has informed that Indian Railways has proposed to install an Ultra-high-speed LTE based communication corridor along their network for Train-Ground and Train-Train communication. In this connection Indian Railways has requested DoT to reserve 15 MHz of spectrum in 700 MHz band for the purpose and to begin with 10 MHz to be allocated free of cost as the proposal is devoid of any commercial gain, but only for enhancing security and passenger amenities. Through the said letter, DoT has also requested TRAI to provide recommendations on administrative allotment of spectrum to Indian Railways and the quantum, price, appropriate frequency band (including 450-470 MHz band) and any other related issue.

A Consultation Paper on “Allotment of Spectrum to Indian Railways for Public Safety and Security Services” has been released to discuss the issues involved. Written comments on the issues raised in the Consultation Paper are invited from the stakeholders by 22nd July 2019 and counter-comments by 5th August 2019.

it's very important to have connectivity while we go out of house either bus train or flight. in the era of it we can manage work also while traveling we will be blessed if network will be strong and it will help us to get financial goals. but to avoid misuse we should have a minimum quota of internet as complementary bassed on journey time and in need it can be available more quota bassed on hassle free payment.

बहुत उत्तम कार्य अति शीघ्र शुरू होना चाहिए । देश के यातायात में रेलवे का अहम योगदान है , स्पेक्ट्रम आवंटन से रेलवे सुरक्षा को एक नया आयाम प्राप्त होगा, और देश के साधारण जन भी यात्रा के समय इसका इस्तमाल कर समय की बचत कर सकते है । देश की महिलाओं को भी इसके फलस्वरूप उचित सुरक्षा प्रदान की जा सकेगी । देश के नागरिकों को रेलवे सूचना संबंधित जानकारी आसानी से प्राप्त हो सकेगी । मेरा देश की सरकार से अनुरोध है की इसे अति शीघ्र शुरू करने की कृपा करें । देश के विकास में इसका अहम योगदान होगा । जय हिन्द

It helps to improve Railway safety and security. It's improve trains timing also. Also beneficial in railway beautification and also helping passenger. Through its passengers get world class facilities.

I think all train running actual schedule and short delay problem, 2nd seet availability confirm on Ac coach not RAC, pay full fair then full seet not half big problem facing on RAC sheet on long journy. 3rd proper cleaning all coach when arrival train on the station coach, toilet not proper cleaning by vendor. 4th passenger not safe in train. 5th folding are very bad serve in train and pay high coast. 6th during cold during, fast food, chips water are expire supply on train.

इस तरह की सुविधाओं से भारतीय रेल अधिक यात्रियों से जुड़ सकती है और उनकी समस्या एवं सुझाव को जल्द से जल्द निपटारा भी कर सकती है। इससे यात्री सुविधा में विस्तार होगा।

it is being observed that most of the railway seats in any trains are being reserved for different quotas of railway department. this can be the reason for inconvenience in booking in peak season.

really it is needed one , while travelling always having network issue which must be addressed by giving spectrum to indian railways to basic improve network service and internet service speed issue and wireless service through wifi hotpot every station seamlessly
