The Department of Telecommunications, through its letter dated 21.08.2017, requested TRAI to suggest its policy inputs for formulation of National Telecom Policy - 2018. Based on preliminary discussions with various stakeholders including telecom service providers, telecom equipment manufacturers, industry associations, consulting firms, cloud service providers etc.; the Authority has prepared inputs for formulating the National Telecom Policy - 2018 in line with the technological advancements in the sector and customer aspirations for digital services. Through the present Consultation Paper, the Authority intends to seek views of stakeholders on the inputs for formulating National Telecom Policy- 2018. Written comments on the consultation paper are invited from the stakeholders by 19th January 2018.

sir,the telecom company are giving data on monthly basis in which they give data on daily basis due to which any day if i didn't used my data,it goes lost.it is harrising.so,kindly make a rule,by which we can use our unused in next day.

मेरी आत्मा का यह अनुभव है कि आपके दिल मे भावनाओं का सागर है तभी आप इतनी आसानी से सभी बातों को सहजता से समझ कर कह और कर पाते हैं मेरी उम्र 24 वर्ष है और में पिता की मृत्युके बाद भी किसी तरह पढ़ाई कर रहा हूँ सामाजिक कार्यों में मेरी बहुत ही रुचि है लेकिन मैं अपने घर की आवश्यकताओं के कारण सामाजिक कार्यों में अपना योगदान नही दे पाता । कृपया मेरे जैसे करोड़ो लोगों को विचार करके मदद करें

मोदी जी मेरे परिवार में मैं अपनी मां के साथ ही रहता हूँ मैं बहुत ही मुश्किल से पैसे कमाता हूँ और मैं 20 वर्ष का था जब मेरे पिता जी का देहांत हुआ और इस प्रकार हम बहुत ही परेशानियों से घिर गए और बहुत सारी भारी समस्याएं हैं ना मैं कह पाऊंगा ना आप उसको हल कर पायेंगे, बस जो मिनिमम बैलेंस कट रहा है बैंको से कृपया उसको बंद कराकर वापिस कराए क्यो की इतनी महगाई में कभी कभी भूखा रह जाना पड़ता है ।क्योंकि पिता की मृत्युके पूर्व मेरे पास घर नही था और फिर मैंने लोन लेकर घर बनवाया जिसका करीब 11000 महीना देना है

In respect to telecom policy, I want to suggest that, telecom services should be safe,secure and friendly user,uninterrupted talk, noise less talk, all allied facilities like,mail, Inet, etc. should be efficiently working, there should be strict rules to follow all the norms of telecom regulatory, the cost of services should be minimum, it should be fixed and unlimited use should be provided at reasonable speed, cyber crime and manipulation of system should be controlled, best wishes

1) release an api for phone number portability, so that apps like paytm, phonepe & bhim can add this feature. It will increase competition among service providers and switching providers will be instant and transparent for customers. 2) No roaming charges 3) minimum data speed must be provided for 4g connection.

Policy should concentrate more for safeguarding the customer's interests like: a)Data & talk time,unused should be carried forward to the next recharge. b)plans should be for 1 month and not for 26d,28d regimes which are fooling the common man. c)regulate the no of connections one person has. D)Fine the telecom service providers who doesn't give proper tower signal service in urban areas. e)mandatory rule to keep customer database encrypted. F)fine service providers on violation of rules

(1) 28 days ke recharge band kiye Jay. Call charge every second ke hisab hone chahiye. Roming charge band hone chahiye .ek hi desh me Roming ke nam pe lut kyu? (2) pay Chanel pe inti lut kis liye ..manoranjan free hona chahiye.. Kyu ki add se bhi har channel bada munafa Kamati hai.

Considering world's best telecom policies I have the following suggestions: 1. 90% of all homes are to be connected with cable network, to get rid of aerial antennae polluting skylines for simultaneous Data (CATV) and voice connectivity. 2. Rate of Data and voice to be fixed by any three third party research agency. 3. National level corruption tracking and monitoring should be implemented. 4. No person will be allowed more that two mobile connection. 5. All connections to be post paid.
