these handloom materials are been brought at cheap level from the manufacturers and being sell at higher rate in exhibition in cities making it difficult for even middle class people to purchase that. A montitored cycle is needed along with a training session of awareness of products among the makers.

तभी A.C.C.

I have the following suggestions to boost the handloom and craft sector
Craft villages are a good idea, government could also start craft tours all across the country for craft lovers and help national and international tourists visit the craft villages, learn the craft and also carry craft items specific to those regions.
The craft tourism will help tourists reach difficult to visit craft centres with ease, it'll boost tourism, crafts, hospitality industry, infrastructure & generate more jobs

It should be made mandatory for all online (eCommerce) and offline stores to have 2 details mentioned -
a. Search and Filter on Made in India.
Most Indians will definitely prefer to buy indian if it is made very easy of them to search, filter & select on Made In India.
b. Tag, Search and Filter on Indian Handloom tag.
A lot of Indians and Global customers will be very willing to support Handloom products if it is made easy to search, filter & select handloom products.

To encourage hand loom business, i personally believe it will be great if such stall are set up in the housing society, corporate places, railway terminus.govt should also not exceed GST more then 5% that way, those who make or are into this business will get encourage.
Govt should open training facilities to those women's who could earn additional income, whether they live in village or in the city.
