In order to elevate handloom or any of the manufacturing/service sector per se
Costing of the business play povital role
With all due efforts India puts up 2 elevate the sector, question is will they hv competitive pricing structure i.e. Domestic market vs International market pricing (Chinese Model 2 b assumed idealistic)
Cost of the business to be rationalised in all aspects viz Manpower planning, Tech.advancement etc. Unemployed manpower can b used 2 rationalise mnpower costing in country.

Anything that could benefit handlooms extensively is making them more appealing which can be only achieved by help of fashion design sector as they could add a sense of uniqueness to it as well as make it more appealing as per ongoing trends. So if govt really plans on helping out this sector they should have govt sectors for fashion designers as its also applicable to various crafts
