The handloom sector can be developed by publicity in other countries. I wear denim because I am overheard of denim. It is only way to make this sector progressive. Second, investors in India have been focused only to invest in the foreign garments. Direct wholesale buy- sale and profit. Handloom commission can train young minds in handloom community who have knowledge of skills will help to create a solid background to force the sector towards development.

India handloom must be given a Brand name. It must be made international. It can have products in different segments like luxury, premium, office wear (men n women), party wear, function wear, daily wear, sports wear etc. It must be made to appeal to youth who will be the biggest consumers. It must have good quality comparable to top brands to gain trust and market. Need to position it as better than Chinese or MiddleEast fabrics.
