Handloom sector is one of the largest unorganised sector of India and it also have deep roots in our history. We should promote this sector by linking it with tourism as it is ancestral for us. It can be used to uplift poor and underdeveloped sections of our society, training should be given in rural areas in handloom and those people should be given employment in SMSEs . In this manner it will also provide upliftment of poors.
