we have had many initiatives such as 'mid day meal scheme' and distribution of bicycles, books, etc. but i think that instead of just providing incentives to the people, who only view schooling as a compulsion, maybe we can try to stress on the necessity of a good education, and how a good educational background could change one's life. we need to promise them a better future through education and not just a full belly, or grains for their fanily

importance should be explained through seminars etc. compulsory education till a certain age....there should be an option of voluntary teaching where we can also help the government.

Gov.have started so many scheme to encourage the student e.g distribution of uniforms, money, cycle, rice etc. But students have only intention ti all these thing and go back to home and their parents are also not intrested in study of their children,Because they are not educated and they don't have permanent earning job.

Free education is one of good idea but I think that we learn only information which are in our book but we don't have any practical knowledge so most of the student are not interested to study

India consists of lot of villages, towns than cities.most of villages donot have any schools or any educational classes which teaches the people about the importance of education.even though they are private educational institutions villages peoples cannot bear the fee of the institutions.so every village should contain atleat one school that inspires the people .if india contains more government schools, colleges and institutions than private institutions then half of the literacy is improved
