The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP. For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

Respected Sir, we are talking about corruption, injustice, social/economic differences in classes as the major issues but no one is talking about the root cause of all this which is "population explosion'. yes it's correct our nation's major issue is population which is root cause of all the other issue. we need to take some concrete actions which might not be of any kind of populist schemes.stringent actions must be taken as it's high time we address this menace,

Respected Sir, We know that our country needs funds to carry on the development process as well as minimise the fiscal deficit. I have an idea, that is along with FDI and loan from foreign institution why does the Govt issues Patriotic Bonds so that citizens too can contribute from their surplus fund in Nation Building Process. For example if 20 crore Indian invest Rs 1000 each then we are getting Rs 2000 crore .... we can have a substantial part of investment from within the country. Jai Hind

Regarding Drugs usage by undergraduate, I have a suggestions: When I was in Ph D IIT Delhi, I found that students coming in first year, were unknown to this and it was provoked by their seniors to use the drugs, etc. I think, continuous monitoring by parents of their children, make them less expansive, control on providing money, regular in touch with their class teachers, warden etc. can stop it. Second solution, stop supplies on wine, cigarette, and sale milk made items at every shops.

incentives should be in form of security options inside the mines because a mining person always puts his life in to threat while going inside.in addition to this better health facility in mining sector is the urgent need of the hour.

Is there any precedence of hashing Defence -Finance and now Finance -IB . A Defense Minister cannot be a prudent spender as he will always overshoot and may roll the earth with no spec in the air and FM is supposed to do do real hard quiet work than to involve in I &B gimmics
