The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources. India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica. Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP. For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower. Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

Unfortunately there are thousands of skilled personnel in the field of Mining. Take for example government owned CENTURY old Bharat Gold Mines at Kolar Gold Field is of history today. There were thousands of skilled personnel became job less in the 90's. An young chap like us enthusiastically did complete Mining technology at SCHOOL OF MINES, Kolar Gold Field, found bleak future for mining skill, inevitably switch over to Civil field. So first support the skill while giving incentive. Jai Hind

I don't know if its a good place to write my concern about the PSU Banks so called privately operated recruitment processes where they hire the young minds by taking a huge some of money as academic fee. Fooling us by their so called IBPS selection process. If they really do have the vacancies then why they are not declaring the number of vacancies instead hiring through Manipal Institute or some else. Will this be resolved or are we be fooled by this good initiative of mygov.in. Feeling Bad :(

Dear Modi Ji, A man next to my door with an intention of not to waste his money cleaning his sewage often pump it out to the street. When ever we complain to the local municipality, no action is being taken. Have no clue on how to face this issue. Unlike our family, there will be many thousands family facing this issue. Request you to kindly discuss on this issue during your next 'Mann Ki Baat'.

Dear Modi ji, There are several medicines which are banned in most of the developed and developing countries but are still available in India. The same situation with pesticides and insecticides. Request you to take some action against this.

Health concerns are more serious in mining sector. We take advantage of technology to give health security to all employees. Life insurance/ children's education, salary based on the risk in work will attract more skilled encouraged people in this sector.

I have a suggestion for Law making in Central List:- All Political parties and NGO, religious, Cultural organizations shall be made under compulsory Audit. As once the Supreme Court has given instruction to the Central Government Last year but the Congress Govt. set aside the instruction. This would definitely put an end to corruption and even delete unwanted political parties from their existence.
