The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

Dear Modi ji, I Love your idea of connecting with people thruogh one of the most reachable media that is radio. Here I have few suggestion about municipal specially road condition, it should be norm that whoever constructing the road of the city, it should last at least three year otherwise contractor need to repair it in time bound manner and free of cost. There should be online or local place citizen can go and complaint about it.

Respected P.M. Sir ! I heard you on Man Ki Baat today. The menace of drug addiction is spreading alarmingly, which has to be curtailed down, if not possible to stop completely at once.Awareness is required for this along with stringent laws for drug peddlers and mafia's.This is a multi-multi crore business which is thriving with the active support and connivance of local police. We can't have a bright nation without bright future generation.Effective legislation required. Thanks. Gautam Mukherji

Hello All, We should start most important topic of "Equal Justice to all" or "SARVA DHARMIYANA SAMAN NAGRI KAYADA" we need to implement on priority so we have very less debate and every one will have equal opportunity. Second is common and its our own responsibility of STOP giving "Bribe" /"Rishwat"/"Laach" to any official or any person demanding for your work to complete. We need to start revolution for this but do not have platform nor right way to communicate. Bharat Patil 86527733

Dear Modi Ji, first of all of i am very thankful to you for what i am feeling today in India. I am highlighting the problem that most of us facing today while travelling from Delhi to Katra or Jammu by road. Where ever bus stops, there is always high price or we can say double the price of everything. food is very costly, all hotels/dabawalas charged at their will. It is my humble request to you, please take some actions against them. they are looting poor people like me while travelling by road.

I dont think we require a regulator to monitor this, existing labour dept is more than enough to check this. Labour dept shud encourage skill development in this sector. You cant employ un skilled workers here, let labour dept take up this responsibility and discharge it diligintly. Also respective corporates, companies nd to b given mining responsibilities only after they comply with framed guidlines of operations and labour. Labour dept shud check both,as its saftey of workers to be put first
