Violence against women is a major issue in our society. Even educated youth is also contributing in this crime. In my opinion parents can play a major role to stop this crime, if from starting the children is provided better information, culture and manners than they will never thought of doing such a crime, because before doing any such crime he will once think about his parents. Secondly their should be compulsory self defence classes in the schools for each student. Thank you. JAI HIND

Parents plays the major role for educating their children. Parents and teacher should teach children in that way, so that they understand the values and culture of our society. There should be a strong law (people engaged in violating against women, they should be punished immediately). Justice should be done with each and every victim. Even though after marriage, groom's parents and himself a groom, misuses our law and taking legal help just to safe themselves. Spoiling girl's life.

Violence is a result of dissatisfaction & frustation at being unable to get what you want & think you must have. Unemployment, Poverty, social enquality are plauging our society. Military training must be made compulsory in India for 6 months before college. A sense of discipline & nationality will enable the youth to respect women & country. Violence against women brings shame to entire nation specially when it happens to foreign tourists. An empowered youth will be a protector than offender.

1) Educate & sensitize the youth for gender equality 2) Patriarchal system of identity has to be abolished & a more equal one should be adopted as indicated recently by apex court 3) Parents at home & teachers at schools & universities should be educated towards creating an equal environment for kids & teenagers 4) Strict enforcement & quick justice towards crime against women is a must to create the fear 5) Social interaction between girls & boys at school & universities should be increased

Parents should be friend of a girl child and should keep a control on the dresses their daughters are wearing and the circle they are in .In common indian society women are being taken as deity and when they are not aware of their languages and dress codes then it gives a negative impression on the other youths ,We are not America where there is no place of Rakshabandhan festival, and where women are from ancient times were being treated equally with man.We have our rituals.
