Now a days only the mediocre or below average students pursue pure science studies.The bright ones go for professional courses.As a result ,there is going to happen a dearth of quality teachers at all levels.Research work will also be hampered.Hence the bright students should be attracted towards pure sciences by providing better career opportunities.Indian Education Service will help a lot.School teachers should also be made a part and parcel of bringing innovation in their respective fields.
