Higher Education Policy - Key Factors are Listed below - Basic approach in 90% cases is to get the Degree only without understanding its relevance or use. - Carrier Counseling is missing in almost 90% Institutions including Universities. - We are lacking in Grooming / Selecting Faculties having practical experience in there respective fields. - We must adopt a policy to involve Experienced & Interested Professional like Doctors, Engineers, C.A. etc. to be Guest Faculty in there respective fields

- Calling discussion on self conceived 33 themes without addressing basics of education policy is like Kejriwal strong jan lok pal bill. - It appears, it will never be an applicable policy like Kejriwal strong jan lok pal bill. - It sounds like addressing certain issues, but not a policy framework.

1. Concentrate on Indian languages, especially Sanskrit (as many languages in the world originate from this ancient language) and improving grammatical and linguistic skills. 2. Higher standards for teaching and teachers. 3. Basic qualification to be a teacher (at school level) - love for kids and passion for teaching activity. Teaching is not just a job, it is a passion. 4. Kids need time to play as well. Remove the pressure without lowering standard of education. 5. Regular training.

Many students miss the opportunity for higher education. Reason is simple- financial condition at home not supportive. The Bank should start a system where study loan should beads available to the students who will like to pursue their courses. Pay back system can be put on once they pick up the job and target should be Five years. There should not be any mortgage system from the party side as it puts pressure on parents side. Only those person will pursue studies who aspires in life for sure.

I am a linguist. These days we are concentrating a lot on teaching foreign languages. But we forget, one reason we are so good in learning languages is - our own linguistic heritage. The day we stop learning Sanskrit and our mother tongues, we will be in the same category as linguists from other nationalities. I learnt Sanskrit as a kid. Not much. Just five years. And I can understand so many languages and the origin of words. So our new education policy should concentrate on this.
