IDEA: GOVT. SHOULD CHANGE THE SCHOOL POLICIES AND TRADITIONAL SYSTEM. HOW: Today govenment has opened many school in about 3-4 km distance from every village to ensure that every children will go to school by using RTI act ,but Is govt. taking feedback from school that teacher is coming school or not or he is just fillling his attendent sheet for salary only. Are teachers of these schools are doing well their duty. According to my knowledge the performance of the teacher in school is very bad.

Idea: CASCADING COMMUNITY/RESEARCH PROJECTS IN TECHNICAL INSTITUTIONS: Community based projects as the major project in the final semesters. The emphasis/grading based on data gathering and reaching milestone rather than completion. Later the same project under same in-charge faculty be passed to the junior group and with seniors asked to play role of consultants. The studnts actually keep on changing every year until the project reach completion. HOPE TO HEAR FROM YOU!

We have to start adopt a school movement. Every citizen of our country has responsibility to pay back something to his school. He can share his knowledge with the children during week days/ holidays. He can fund for improving facilities. He can watch the performance of that. He can take initiatives in reducing strikes. He can protect the children from drugs and other sort of abuse. He can teach them human values.

If more points are given by UGC for a village visit or hospital visit to the teachers along with students than research papers and it is added to the syllabus as a part of their study, then this policy will work out. An unified syllabus for higher education institutions are also necessary for this purpose.

In Higher educational institutions teachers are running behind research, taking projects for monetary benefits and for making their own scientific papers for fulfilling their academic points as per the UGC, as there are research institutions for research. They are not at all concerned with teaching, answer book valuation etc. As there are hardly 3 months for each semester with an year’s syllabus, then who will give valuable ideas to students? contd.............

In New Education Policy, what needs is not “Laws” but awakening of the social conscience. Acts of Parliament cannot make us happy. “Law” is only a negative factor, telling us “Thou shall not do this”. Happiest is the country which has the smallest number of laws.

A very happy republic day to all........connecting education to the society should in my view start from the grassroot level.......it shud be like a chain reaction.........say a 10 th class student can easily educate people who are less fortunate and do not get a chance to go to school. For instance the maids and other helpers at home. These are the people who form a link between the educated "high" class and those living in "slums". My agenda is to teach them one new thing/ concept etc each day

New Education Policy must focus on 5 key areas 1. Develop Value System and responsibility towards society , country and Environment 2. Teach Goal Setting and Project based study ( not memory test based evaluation) 3. Focus on Research and original works ( India to lead 21st Century by that) 4. Collaboration of Govt. funded school / colleges with best of the world educational institution 5. Education must be declared a non-profit activity - Focus on skill building not on degree distribution
