Skill development is a good endeavor leading to better employment opportunities, but formal academic programs should not be adversely affected.Overburdening on human resources leads to deterioration of quality and services.

Agencies,instruments and stakeholders for skill development should be properly identified and with the fulfillment of their requirements, their contribution to social development should be ensured.Skill training must be demand-driven, not merely data generating activity. Proper quality of training should be ensured,certificates should not be issued without proper practical evaluation. Sometimes training is imparted by them who themselves lack in required skills.Skills earn jobs,not certificates.
