Respected modi sir, when you talk about improvement in literacy the first measure you have to take is to improve the government schools to international levels with the help to investments,develop infrastructures.A govt school should be well equipped than a private school.that day every child will go to school and make india a stronger country in the world so as you are launching swach bharat and many other schemes launch a scheme and develop the govt schools into world class inst

When I was a child, education up to high school level was free. Fees in high school and colleges were just nominal. Today education is privatized, making it prohibitive for lower and lower middle class people. On top of this, there are reservation, casteism etc. Government needs to make education till High School free and open to all. Reservation in educational institutes should be based on economic background and include skill development. Books & Stationary costs may be made affordable.

Literacy improvement -- people old or children needs some temptations. ISCKON has 30 kitchens in 8 states feeds 14 lac students daily. I suggest Govt Private Sectors and ISCKON or local NGO JV and provide food in all schools. We start separateschool for adults too

It's all about Practical knowledge.

All government can do is : 1) Proper infrastructure of govt schools in remote areas because cities have lot of options 2) Quality of teachers who are adequately compensated 3) Asking a teacher of lucknow to go and live in village near kanpur type of rules needs to be changed. 4) Transparent process of teacher selection in govt schools. 5) Student feedback o issues related to govt schools

My views are a bit drifted from the topic at hand, but certainly centred around it.. Why cant we experiment with a new education model, whereby the syllabus to teaching methods, to qualifications and certificates, are entirely different from the current model of schooling and higher education? Would this also not be a way to develop the country on a more practical skill based model?

Outreach programs and centers should be created by the Govt.This should be spread to citizens of India to invite new volunteers who can involve in identification of marginalized youth and engage them in useful activities by teaching them.NGOs working on this should be funded, monitored and allowed to grow.Enrollment of the recovered marginalized youth freely in govt. institutions should be done.Awareness about this section of people to the people of India is must to recover them and educate them

Sir we have hundreds of universities and thousands of established colleges, we have to invite youths from the above institutions for a volunteer ship program to teach these marginalized groups.For this we need to adopt an effective result oriented and fellowship based teaching volunteer program. After the successful accomplishment of their volunteer period they must be awarded with govt certificates and they should provide additional grace marks in the selection process of govt employment.

There should be prescribed level of education for all kind of financial supports provided by the government to the youths (the marginalised youth in particular) and their parents /family members. The mead-day meal scheme may be converted to full-day meal scheme for those who are living with extreme poverty. HUNGER need to be mitigated first to improve literacy. which will reduce child trafficking as well.

GOVT. SHOULD PROVIDE KNOWLEDGE TO STUDENT RELATED TO AGRICULTURE , ORGANIC FARMING INFACT THERE SHOULD BE A SUBJECT ON AGRICULTURE AND ORGANIC FARMING FOR THE STUDENT FROM 7 TO 10 . SO ATLEAST THEY CAN UNDERSTAND THE BASIC OF FARMING
