There is lack of funding for govt schools. We can monetise school real estate create multi store yes complex in school and use upper floors for leading for tuitions , care counselling centres, English teaching classes, vocational training etc and lease out the space to private operators after due checks. Keep good security generate revenues for school and provide better teachers and amenities in govt schools. The people hiring space can be used as resources for classes in govt schools also.

We lack funding for government run schools and as a result are not able to get good committed teachers and staff. There are a lot of working women who have left their careers for family and would like to get back to work. Govt schools on probation of 3-5 years can be a good model.

In order to improve education as a whole , students need to be motivated to generate ideas.[keyword : motivate not force] There is need for better scholarships . Admissions to university should be based on student's communication ability + their project/research proposal like in universities abroad. Not asking to consider marks unimportant but thing is makrs aren't the only thing one can use to test brain .

Marking system in India is divided into 2 internal and external in various fields. Where students have to waste enough money to prepare projects which go useless after the submission. Govt can generate capital, new ideas, new scientists by just handing over of Govt projects to the students of various sectors like Engineering,Commerce etc in order to gain internal marks this change will bring interest among the students to contribute for the development of our country and also save their money.

Simply follow steps taken by Hon'ble CM Thiru K.Kamarajar, Tamilnadu. 1.Free Education is not enough to attract students. they should not be hungry to read good. Even though Mid Day meal scheme is good at India, Global hunger index,2009 reported that there exists malnutrition.so Provide millet. 2.Teachers should be well paid so that more talented teachers will be there at schools who knows to handle even first generation literates. 3.Every panchayats should be encouraged to administer schools

In response to PMs views on interview. For last seven years I have been conducting training for youth in these two disciplines ie;interview and group discussions. I have had excellent results in interviews of MNCs, pilots and central services. If regular batches of 15-20 such poor youth, who need to appear in such interviews and GD are sent to me for one/maximum two weeks, I shall provide world class training to them Free of Cost and ensure that they will pass these hurdles with flying colours.

The goal is not very well articulated. What do we mean by "marginalised youth"? Is it the youth living in orphanages, juvenile homes, prisons. And those working in the unskilled sector? If yes, then we need: 1. A campaign to motivate these youth and to make them aware of the benefits of literacy. Specifically, it should clearly articulate how being literate helps ones quality of life. 2. Literacy centres where youth can go to learn when they can afford to - cannot be like a school.
