A marginalised youth needs some obvious incentives for attending literacy classes, such as centre at nearest school or college, free literacy classes and basic stationery, and free one meal every day. Adult classes be made mandatory for private schools and large corporations, which got natural resources like land, utilities cheaply, as they owe this much to the local population that literacy classes be held for them for free and if possible, they be employed locally.

The major impediment I see in case of marginalised youth is the struggle for livelihood and lack of clear picture about how education can improve their future. We can open special schools for such youth where they get not only educated but learn vocational skills as well. Tha t might take care of the livelihood part. And they need to have a clear picture about benefit from education. Pursuit of education despite odds is done only when there is enthusiasm within the person, not because of schemes

1. Change the syllabus to be more practical. 2. Govt. Teachers behavior should change.Instead of assuming the teaching as one more profession to earn,it should be considered with more revere and patriotic.Steps should be taken to do this. 3.Education is required to create Moralistic,Patriotic,Creative and knowledgeable person not just for job search. 4. Change the way of teaching instead of pouring money into it so that our politicians can eat on it.

Dear Sir, As for growing a tree we need to water a sibling, similarly for making youth educated we have to start from ground level i.e. rather than providing scholarships to able youth whose parents can afford paying fees. We should provide quality education for free from primary level to those who can't afford. And also providing co-curricular activities will increase the interests of candidates towards education. first of all children should be provided such atmosphere in schools,where they enjoy learning,they should not start mugging subjects to pass in exams. Students from poor families should be given scholarships from Private-public companies. RTE is for all,but there should not be any reservations in admissions by a students caste. Grading students is not the goal of education system, it should build good character of a students,good virtues should be taught to children in all schools.

Primary school teachers of private/government schools should be literate first.

Fear was never the way of teaching in India.. Love and respect is what we have shown to the world. The same culture has to come back. Make teacher the most respected person of the society, show them the way to connect to students, to earn their respect. And then bring a curriculum that emphacises on practical knowledge rather than book knowledge, and then see India change.. Happy independence day!!
