To conserve energy the awareness of this valuable resource has to be generated.Rural and small towns where electric distribution is through overhead lines,are suffering from hooking of electricity by throwing a wire hook on the overhead line and connect the other end to the house wiring.Thus electricity becomes free to such house holds.Unfortunately,this practice is being adopted as a rule rather than as a exception.In such a situation covering the whole country,how can we talk of conservation?

i think this change has to bring in our country i.e how the light energy is produce and wts the cost of to produce and how risks to find out the natural minerals... by bring this awearness in peoples we can avoid the waste utilisation of energy.....

Promote solar Power units for lighting. A Simple Solar Power unit for lighting 4-8 LED bulbs can be construct at a cost of Rs.20000/- or less if mass produced.

These things should be taught in schools. If we form a subject keeping in view all problem. It would help a lot.

Govt should manufacture LCD bulb or import duty free from china, and supply it to masses. It would save lot of energy.
