सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्रालय (MIB) ने 22 अगस्त 2019 दिनांकित एक संदर्भ के मुताबिक एफएम चरण- III नीति के तहत 283 शहरों (260 नए + 23 मौजूदा) के लिए ट्राई द्वारा आरक्षित कीमतों की सिफारिशों पर सुझाव मांगें हैं।

इसके अनुसार यह परामर्श पत्र एफएम रेडियो चैनलों की नीलामी के लिए आरक्षित मूल्य के आकलन से संबंधित मुद्दों पर हितधारकों की टिप्पणियों / विचारों की तलाश करने के लिए तैयार किया गया है।

परामर्श प्रक्रिया के तहत परामर्श पत्र को ट्राई की वेबसाइट पर अपलोड किया गया है। सभी हितधारकों से परामर्श पत्र पर लिखित टिप्पणियां 6 नवंबर 2019 तक आमंत्रित की जाती हैं। काउंटर-टिप्पणियां, यदि कोई हो, 13 नवंबर 2019 तक भेजी जा सकती हैं।

The first phase of FM radio broadcasting (Phase-Iwas launched by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) in 1999. During Phase-I auction, a total of 108 channels in 40 cities were offered to private agencies in the FM spectrum band (88 – 108 MHz). mechanism was followed to award these permissions.
