Amendment should be done in the present bill to the extent that land acquired in the present bill should only be used to develop the infrastructure in the area such as roads, bridges, cold storage, food processing units. For industries it should be acquired at open market prices only as the Govt market price is well below the actual market price.

Dear Prime Minister, Your Land Acquisition Bill will favor only the big industrialists, instead you should make the land available for SMEs wherein lot more jobs will be created especially for poor and low skilled labors. Anybody will grow by getting land at subsidized rates. Land should be acquired by offering them joint venture or partnerships in the projects.
