2-Cricket made our children lazy and instead of playing most want to watch on TV.Now students are overburdened with studies and they get no time for play. This has to change.Health is equally important as education and if that is neglected our new generation will become easily fall prey to life style diseases.Along with work some time also spared for play.We can be a leading nation in sports provided our political leadership rise to the occasion to take interest in sports and utilise money.

6. Football-wise, talent should be encouraged to go international in their teens, helping them learn skills from quality sides in Europe or the Americas. Rather than AIFF controlling all training aspects for the national team, such talent promotion removes burden of training, while ensuring a whole spectrum of skill-sets from around the world. These kids will also have the opportunity to earn big, play international, and thus motivate other kids to follow their example.

5. CSR in sport must focus on long-term. Not on one-off events or a year-based contractual system. While this short-term policy may be in corporate interest, it is very harmful for athletes who continuously have to think about their finances and means. Sports CSR therefore needs a separate paragraph containing these obligations and also certain concession from the government. Ideally, options must help athletes while empowering them to succeed professionally in cases where they can't make it.

4. Not all can or want to participate in sport, but through www.ourdreamrun.com, they can contribute in many ways. By writing stories, articles, submitting photographs - all on the theme of sport. This helps develop pride for sport from an early age on and also interest that continues for life. Importantly, once people develop themselves through the media of sport, this experience enhances respect for sport and sportspersons. Let's get everybody into sport this way.

my road map would be 1. Encourage paticipation at dist/state /national level 2. build world class sports specific residential training centres with cbse/isc cirriculum under PPP model. these institutions can become self reliant within 5-10 years 3. pick up promising talent at dist/state/national level for training and complete education. Financial assistance to family in case candidate is bread earner. 4. Keep out of reach of politicians but within strict audits. 5. We shall notice changes from 2020 olympics

3. Empower sportspersons and give them control over their future. OurDreamRun.com has an online ecosystem where every athlete/sportsperson can log on and maintain a record of his performance, including stories, photos, etc. This enables an online ecosystem where sponsors, athletes and the government can meet and track progress of each other. The site also carries information about events around the country, helping people converge. Importantly, this attracts kids to the site, enhancing interest.
