On a pilot project Govt should start inviting tenders for multiplex at Key stations like Delhi/CST/Bangalore/Chennai/Hyderabad and also in Tier 2 cities Nagpur/Vizag/Lucknow/Chandigarh etc..Railway station can be an alternate to all the malls for many people including poor people as it reduces the travel time/cost of travel/traffic/parking and above all this will create huge revenue to Railways and job creation to youth of this country. Railways have huge land parcels at the Railway stations. To increase footfall and revenue. R should start opening of Multiplex at the Railway Station. This will help Railway to improve revenue by 10 fold thru passenger travel from nearby city/village use railways as mode of communication and food courts in the railway station will create revenue and jobs for the locals. Above all people who travel long distance will use there spare time to watch movies rather than sleeping & dirtying the station

WHY cant we have a CAPTIVE POWER PLANT. we have LAND / COAL transport / HUGE not fluctution stagnent REQUIREMENT . energy cost may come down by more than 60% . At present we are buying at 7/-Rs per unit this will go up as service tax rises due to GST. Captive power plant can provide sustainable electricity at 2 to 3 Rs per unit

there could be railway tracker apps like there are for flights....can work with simple gps device fitted on train.....ppl will know exact time when train will come n they wont reach station before n then wait for hours....will also show position on central server so trains can move faster in fog conditions when they know there is no other train on track...

Railway should install smart card machines (like ATM branches) @ various places so ppl can access tickets elsewhere & nt just in stns
