Train enquiry system is one of the best available in any sector and I must compliment the railway's effort towards it. Just one more improvement can be done. That is resend the reminder SMS one hour before the train arrival, informing him the delay in arrival if any and also the status of reservation.

may kindly ensure train time so that daily passengers reach their offices in time( to achieve zero tolerance for good governance); presently in many places trains running late, due to which mst holders are incapable to reach in time; therefore try to local trains/emus/memus on time which could be achieve by close/tight supervision/motivation of staff/friendly enviourment

The Indian Railways Train Enquiry System app for phones really works extremely well. However, it is not possible for each and every single mobile user to use a smartphone app, for them, the only availability is the SMS service. However, SMS service commands should be put up in all railway stations, with mention of what command brings up what information, so that the use of the SMS service by those who have not other option is more effective.

if the computer generated system asks for the exact train number then it wiil make easier for the caller as well as the system to reply such calls immidiately, the railways should create a sepearate tel number for providing train numbers for the passengers which will make it easier for the passengers to querry for the required train immediately
