There is no need to have a SEZ for any industry. Misusing this privilege, promoters setup companies in these zones and indulge in activities totally unrelated to the benefits provided under the SEZ scheme. Let those who are innovative and talented succeed. Managements clandestinely transfer existing projects and initiatives by re-christening them as new contracts to offices and subsidiaries setup afresh in SEZ to mainly avail the tax benefts.

The tax net should not only target the salaried class, but also corporates, MSME and Foreign investors. Any citizen of the country who earns an income in excess of Rs. 1 lakh should pay tax. Increasing the base level of the exemption limit year after year as an excuse to avoid the inefficiency of tax collection, administration and mgmt speaks of poor governance. Let the civil judicial system be reformed on a war footing to resolve tax litigations with corporates.

Strict laws be introduced to stop corrupt practices in medical profession. Health insurances should be made cheaper. Medical & Engg. colleges in all district headquarters. Cost of Cosmetics, wines, intoxication materials can be drastically raised. Agriculture should be declared as industry and youths should be encouraged to adopt agriculture as profession. Self employment schemes should be made more easy & within the reach of unemployed youths. All grains & eatable materials made cheaper.

Big chunk of money in budget goes in subsidies which once introduced are hard to withdraw. Free power in Punjab, one rupee two rupees kg rice etc in States have already crippled them ,Recent Food Security programme etc. are no different.People are treated as beggars to be doled out one thing or the other as if State is a charitable entity and not one to govern and created avenue for dignified life for people,poor or otherwise.Please change this mindset in action plans and policy.

Make a provision in a budget for developing more forest area for plantation, small water storage areas in hills and mountains, deserted areas, open areas in cities and villages etc. 2. open land to be given to the youth/ local public on rental basis for making vegitables, flowers and seasonal fruits.
