Income tax exemption under 80c is to be revised and should increase upto 5 lacs as education fees for two children itself is reaching this amount and this also will increase investment from private / public sector employee. Secondly, free limit of income tax should be 5 lava and 10% on 5 to 10 lacs 20% on 10 to 20 lacs while 30% on more than 15 lacs. This will increase purchasability and business in whole.

All the salaried people, who falls under TDS by their Employers should be exempted totally from further taxing and Tax return (since the extra taxes due is usually less than 5% of their TDS). The huge number of Taxmen looking after salaried persons thus thus released should focus to the sectors (private doctor, lawyer, bussinesman ) uncovered by TDS but with high income. Sellers of Building materials never give sale tax with huge loss to Govt. Make them VAT covered.

1. Steps should be taken to reduce or at best eliminate the out of pocket expenses on health services. To cater for this Govt can take fixed percentage ( 6%) of income from people just like income tax and then all health care expenses should be born by Govt and every kind of treatment should be cashless for everyone. There should be no hassle of bills, reimbursement etc 2. It's high the limit for savings under 80C be increased to excess of 3 lakes to encourage saving among the salaried class.
