As government has already started a scheme to give LED bulbs at low rate in Delhi , it should be extended in whole country by removing tax from LED lights as they become very expensive. Another step towards saving electricity and generating pollution free electricity, subsidy on solar panels should be given. Discussing about energy saving and subsidies in budget will influence people to use these products and help in nation building.

Budget must focus on generating savings and encourage consumption for economy to grow. This is possible only if more money is left in the hands of common person this can be achieved easily by passing on the entire benefit of reduction in International Crude Prices to the consumers and also by raising Income Tax exemption limits to Rs 500,000/- Tax slabs need to be structured in unconventional manner. Savings only will support Make In India Plan which will need huge CAPEX investment.

Hello Sir, I have a view regarding SERVICE TAX. The departments where the service tax is applicable, it should be deducted by the employer as TDS, just like in case of income and sales tax, i.e the service tax should be deducted at the source and should then be deposited by the employer to the government. It will thus help in generating huge revenue to the government and also will help in stopping money laundering. A concerned Citizen Sukhchain Goyal

After paying 33% I.Tax,we pay excise, sales tax,VAT,etc. This means out of every 100 earned more than 50 is going to govt.In return tax payer gets poor roads, indifferrent beurocrats, dirty cities, erratic electric supply, harrasment at hands of police & what not.I think the tax payer deserves better. Most of the tax money goes to protect the politicians, most of whom have serious criminal charges on their head. The govt. should be LEAN & SMART.
