To mitigate climate change the basic thing is stop deforestation.. We have put in all the technology required to lessen deforestation... Any new project has to be allowed permission only if the project pledges to any of the nature friendly activity of solar power/wind power/rain water harvesting/ any such related program listed by the government.. Also minimum 70 % of the land area of any project (whether industrial or commercial) has to be compulsorily under tree plantation and organic farming

Absence of which should be responded with the cut in supply of water, electricity & also disconnecting Sewerage lines for them.A massive campaign should be taken up with immediate effect. Also encourage Corporates by giving them TAX REBATES to adopt the existing & plant more trees wherever possible for them.No any tree should be Axed with out prior permission.Marking of trees should be done.

Everyone is saving a lot of money for safe & secure future of their children, but i say that if we are not going to change they(children) might have to spend this money on OXYGEN CEYLINDERS & WATER BOTTLES.Infact it would be more a beautiful idea if we inculcate the habit of planting & taking care of tree(s) in children as they will realise the value of Clean & Green future.Administratin requires to make it mandatory for every colony, society, complex, apartment etc to have Rainwater Reharvesting .4

Also civic bodi(es) staff has to be educated that burning of waste & leaves is not a solution & infact a reasion for Global Warmimg.Has ever anyone just fora while imagined how much of Rain water is going to Drains every year,if this is made to go to Ground in every constructed Compound it will not only relax the problem of Groundwater levels, but also answer the problem of Flood(s).CONTD....3

In my view a massive Afforestation is the need of the hour, along with Mandatory Rainwater Reharvesting. The government requires to educate people that trees are not going to grow overthenight, their plantation today is going to help Future generation(s) to breath a healthy Air.People in mountain areas have to be made realise that this is Greenery for which tourist(s) are coming spending days and money and hence it is their first & foremost duty to save & plant trees.CONTD 2

A suggestion to increase the green cover in India is, to include in the syllabus, a subject to promote planting of trees. Environment Studies is already a subject taught in most schools. However, in my personal opinion, the subject is too theory based.Getting them to plant and care for their trees will engage their minds and bodies. They can be graded based on how well their plants are taken care off.

I have a suggestion to reduce vehicle usage for near by travel - Every residential society should have a shared bicycle (with basket and a career) - All society member can use it to travel to any near by distance - Purchase and Maintenance cost can collected and contributed by the members of the society Benefits: - Most people do not buy bicycle as they don't want to use it on regular basis - They are OK to use it occasionally on short distance - By using it they can save fuel as well
