There should be a limit to selling of land in small towns. Our towns are fast merging with small hops across the roads. May be a prototype of a idle village with basic facilities should be made and we develop them accordingly. And these should be allowed to expand only when they reach a certain population count else t be surrounded by greenery and farm lands only.

Sir a program by the name of green boundaries should be launched. Every big building should be directed to plant trees across the boundary, similarly for residential societies, factories, office complexes, malls etc. A tree hardly costs any money. And these should be maintained by the planters. Also I feasible all farm lands to be divided by trees. Now we can plant trees depending on the space we have it could be neem or ashoka or even fruit trees. This can easily be done.

We should have add ampaign like the one for toilets for wet and dry waste. Only recyclable plastic should be allowed to be manufactured. All ration items to be packed in recyclable material by the manufacturing units. Every industry should take responsibility of recycling its production waste and take back packing waste too or have expert tie ups else pull back their licence. Packing waste can easily be sent back by the same distribution network by which they sell and the incentive to be given.

I saw the episode on recycling waste by aamir khans satyamev jayte and all the nuicance our own municipal corporations are creating. Govt should give them fund basis their performance and not otherwise. Their tenders should also be cross checked. There are so many ways in which we can be a garbade free nation only if we work together.Would suggest everyone to watch the show.

The government should integrate and impose grassroots solutions in a hardcore environment policy to change our current lifestyles and gradually we will abide by it because its for our own future and our own benefit. This way our future will be bright and clear and saved. Investing in renewable energy is a really good solution but not everyone will accept it because its costly but it is something worth investing in and the government should implement such projects.

Public participation is the most necessary form of participation because we all are part of this nation and the environment at large. If we could take on grassroots solutions like: 1. Saving electricity by switching of the lights, fans, refrigerator, AC, etc. 2. Saving Petrol and fuel 3. To cover short distances we either use public transport like buses, Auto-rickshaw, Bicyles, or walk (to be healthy and fit). 4. Prevent burning of waste and start to recycle.

All we have to do is change our current luxurious lifestyles which we are so fond of and start to move towards a sustainable lifestyle. Why? Because if we do not, all the environmental issues such as climate change, global warming, air pollution, health, food security, etc. would worsen and our future generations would be affected strongly and negatively. If we do not want to ruin the future, then lets start to improve the present. we have to have grassroots solutions that we can do on our own.

bilkul iske liye janta bhi jimmedar hai, kyoki aaj ke jivan me sab apne bare me soch rahe h, kisi ko desh ki parwah nahi h. iske liye sabko jimmedari leni padegi. sabse pehle govt ko schools or college me campaign karvana chahiye jisse log paudho(plant)ki value samjhe. iske liye govt ko ek kanoon banana chahiye ki har schools me students ko ek period planting ke liye hona chahiye jisme unhe paudho ke bare me batana chahiye or saath hi unse planting bhi karvani chahiye . tabhi jalvayu thik hogi.

Pl Stop burning leave- it causes air pollution, global warming. Stop carrying leave to landfill sites- it needs diesel, results in various problems associated with waste handling, increased traffic, pollution during transport, finally problems of landfill. Both are costly mistakes. Use dry leaves as mulch or make compost. Let us stop burning and transporting... Stop turning land into desert. Two thirds of the earth is now in the process of turning into desert.

Pot Composting at home: People may do composting at home / work. It is a big step towards building a zero waste society. Pl see a video on the link- www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWaq3e6hHt8. Encourage people who are living in cities and always complain about lack of space for doing something. We have to find space in our mind. Then it can work even in a pot!
