Out of the different institutions of a social process public is obviously playing a crucial role to mitigate the menace of climate change. But at the same time the role role of other institutions are also more important. Like one industry usually makes pollution in one day which 10000 people make make in a day. So which one is easier, to curve the activities of 10000 human or 1 factory.

I would say solar energy shud butilized d most. India gets maximum of it. Solar cars n scooties shud be tried to be made more efficient and which is more they should come in daily use. Cng should be made compulsary in places where its easily available. We would surely not be wanting to become one of the factors for earth's end...

My suggestions - - Plant saplings, plants, trees on every small occasion - Use maximum public transportation and car pooling - Reduced use of Air conditioners - Avoid urbanisation in certain areas which are naturally green and instead encourage tourism out there.

Global warming will affect agricultural production in coming years.Practice of agriculture with minimum use of water to be developed .Conservation of water is also important. We may try diversification of crops and plants and identify those varieties /species suitable in the new situation. This will help to reduce the loss at adverse conditions.Incentives and crop insurance shall help farmers to withstand.

Public participation does not only mean that we must grow a plant so as to increase the oxyzen level in the environment.Instead we must also think about avoiding private vehicles each and every time even when the public transportation is much comfortable, so that we can lessen the amount of relesing co2. This one step of using public transportation by keeping aside our prestige problems especially in metro cities, would be much beneficial for our environmental health. :)

Encourage people to plant trees on special events like marriage, birth or in the memory of someone in a local premises allotted by the governing body. Such people who plant trees here can be collected in a club and hold monthly or quarterly activities. Such a place can further be developed into a picnic spot and an eco-friendly tourist attraction.
