Climate Change is such a big challenge that it cannot be handled by one agency of the Govt. It requires whole of the Govt. and the Public Participation to counter it. Govt will still remain the key because of its capability to incentivise low-carbon processes and products. One cannot expect a Private company to set an example and others to follow it because any such shift would be counter-profit at first. Public has to be thoughtful of its consumption pattern, more of it wastage. Save you Earn

Social volunteer about 8 hours ago suggested that legal actions should be taken and criminal proceedings should be recommended against building mafia. Building mafia is happening all over India. Legislation of new laws will only increase the constitution text or amendments text or new laws for publicity of the govt. The need is the zeal and fairness in officials to attend to their job responsibilities in a strict way. I am referring to the IAS, IPS and IFS allover India. Govt should do policy

Basically, I feel, that there should be provision for response comments after reading - RECENT COMMENTS. The space should be given just below the RECENT COMMENTS for maintaining a link between RESPONSE and RECENT COMMENTS. In the process, a continuity of discussion is visible at one place. I wish the Software developers may please look into this or enlighten me on that aspect.

Its so simple to control. Every house, building approval must be through City Councils. The house or building plans would be approved (with a dead line) before construction start. Empower councils and make them more responsible for all illegal activities. Council must be fined for non-compliance. Policies should be formed, even for things like water connection, garbage collection. People should be fined for littering openly. Many more can be done, need a right brain in place.

Sir,unless we control the BUILDERS MAFIA by way of a REGULATOR with LEGAL TEETH and heavy CRIMINAL proceedings. They have plundered the HIMALAYAN forest under the garb of DEVELOPMENT.The TSUNAMI of KEDARNATH is a live example.Similar in NCR/Metro.Towns the Forest cover the Arravali Range/Bhatti/Sanctuaries are all being raped by POLITICAL MAFIA so there is POLLUTION in NCR.All 'WATER HOLES created by our elders are garbage pits. The pavements do not exist as 1 meter. All are cemented no GRASS why?
