Modiji,u have to take serious action on private bus owners who r making too much charges.for whom we have to complaint,this website is very food for views,but we need for complaints session also where every complaint should get solvable asap.Bring reforms in this type also and punish them who r troubling the passengers also

Dear Modiji,in Gujarat govt bus ticket prices r low compared to other states,its gud.then what abt private bus,as they charging too much on persons in vacations most,from Ahmedabad to jamnagar in govt bus it is 240 rs,but in private bus it is 450 almost double,and also in Volvo buses they r making two persons to seat in a single sleeper seat from Ahmedabad to jamnagar,is it possible to seat that much of time to adjust even paying 450 rs from one person,is there no stop for their freedom

One good practice followed by Japan is that each state here or a group of states here issue a railway pass which is valid for different periods i.e. 3 days, 5 days, 7 days etc. This allows the tourists to travel without the hassle of booking separate tickets in different trains within that region. They can travel on these pass, only that before boarding the train, they need to reserve a seat at a ticket counter at that station. I have enjoyed traveling with such a pass!!

I think we should introduce hop-on hop-off comfortable big windowed buses in cities like Mysore and Jaipur where there are multiple sites. This will encourage more tourists to go around at ease and create opportunity for employment. It will also give a reason to develop road infrastructure along the driving routes. Since the chosen sites will attract more tourists, they can house more indigenous handicrafts and textile. This will help educate locals about their heritage and earn a living.
