Consequently, the access of women particularly those belonging to weaker sections including Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/ Other backward Classes and minorities, majority of whom are in the rural areas and in the informal, unorganized sector – to education, health and productive resources, among others, is inadequate. Therefore, they remain largely marginalized, poor and socially excluded.

In PPP model we may provide better education girls.Government sources are not enough to provide education to all girls.It requires large funding.It may be done with PPP model only.An educated girl may educate two families and is most useful to educate society &to reduce poverty.

girl child education is necessary thing because if one girl take education she teaches the whole family and if one boy takes education he teaches only for him not others. but in education girls also have many facilities they have use this facilities fully. we need to change the mind of people I don't know why men's are behaving like this we need to change the mind set of people mostly men's.

Education for girl to be done free for the all till matriculation if girl obtain more then 80% higher education should be free for her till graduation.

It is a good idea to provide education to girl child. However, the education should be made affordable to all. The government schools even in cities lack proper facilities such as buildings, playgrounds, labs and qualified and motivated teachers. The private schools are not affordable for a common man. They charge between 1 lakh to 6 lakhs for high school. In addition, they force the parents to pay for costly uniform, shoes, books, and other useless fees. Make education affordable.

I think the trick is to incentivize and make it attractive for all stakeholders. Anand Verma's suggestion needs to be built upon. How about using technology? For instance, a portal that provides a platform for parents, girl child, school teachers, private insurance companies, certifying bodies to exchange and transact information, funds (donations), incentives for donors and others-all of which ensures opportunities are all possible just a click away and transparent to monitor?
