I believe the only criteria to fire an employee should be, if he is incapable to do his job and not performing. Such laws exists in every developed country, which protect the employment. many of us being single earner in the family, put our families at a very high risk if gets unemployed. I hope, your HRD ministry would look into this aspect and would take some measures. With warm regards, Santosh Dwivedi

It is strange that no govt. has done anything to protect the workers. we even don't have a social security system like most of the western countries has. At least, the govt. can enforce some law so that employers have to justify that they have tried all options before laying-off the employees. I have seen the cases where there could have many cost cutting measures taken before asking employees to leave the job. But instead employers forced employees to resign threatening to fire them otherwise.

Continuing from my last post... It is a know fact that the salaried middle class is the majority of tax payers. Still it is surprising that there is hardly any law to protect the employees, in case he gets a lay-off. I have seen many people in a great trouble during the recession period of 2008-2009.Peope who paid lacs in tax when employed, were left out without any help. I have worked in several western counties and know there all those countries have laws to protect their workers.

Dear Sir, I have been a big supporter of our PM. He and his govt. has brought some hope to a nation which is deprived and struggling in many area. I would like to bring attention of HRD ministry to one very important issue in India, which is a major contributor of Brain Drain. in fact, I wanted to put this discussion under a group like "social security" or "employee protection" but I could not find any such forum on the site, neither a way to create a new forum. In India, it is a known fact

Education sysytem counts. It is making the children more bookish. To make it more interesting we need to make the learning hands-on or learning by doing, provide a platform where the children can apply their knowledge what they are having to avoid its drainage. Make the education funfull even though at the degree level. Teach the students to apply CS-STEM (Computer science-Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths). Apply it, it will refined and gives birth to innovation.

Major setback in it is lack of opportunity. Job creation is the solution. But how? . my opinion is (i) give relaxation in tax to those who are investing for further job creation like opening NGO etc. (ii) one person one job kind of situation should be omitted. Instead of that one person one job and that one can create jobs for others in legal terms. kind of viral effect.(iii)Firms should opt for indigenous product.(iv) jobs should be profession. (v) corruption free country.last but not the least

Retired persons are occupied the jobs since 2 to 5 years, hence no employment/fewer employment to young Generation. Young calibers are diverting to Foren for Employment opportunities. Pl. stop Reemployment after Retirement in any case so that no brain drain from India Secondly, ensure/provide better employment opportunities, strictly followed the work,pay/perks,health and other rules so that youth may not be feel harassed.

Dear PM, With no FDI's and domestic investment coming in job creation is unlikely. Improvement of Road Infra needs to be the top priority of your gov. It took 16 hours to cover a distance of 300 Kms. Reasons;Somvati Amavasya7.5 hours traffic jam at Garhmukteshwar:no police bandobast, No separate exits & hence too many diversions, broken roads, Old HCVs/2,3wheelers/animalcarts slow down the traffic. If such simple things can't be addressed what right do we have to compare ourselves with Chinese

I think we should have job reservations in all the fields. I completely support the PM and all the politicians for promoting this. Let's start the reservation with our cricket team. We should have 10 percent reservation for Muslims. 30 percent for OBC, SC /ST like that. Cricket rules should be modified accordingly. The boundary circle should be reduced for an SC/ST player. The four hit by an OBC player should be considered as a six and a six hit by a OBC player should be counted as 8 runs.
