Why I will not invite my friends to travel in India! Recently I did a trip of Rajasthan - Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer. The forts, palaces, temples are amazing. Hotels, food, people are also great. But the cities are so filthy - uncollected garbage, cow dung, open drains along the streets, no dustbins, broken footpaths. These things make the experience unsatisfactory. Why not deploy Safai mitra who are in charge of keeping clean a specific area - they can clean as well as enforce non-littering. Also the national highways are littered all throughout. NHAI should have highway sweeping. Cars driving on the wrong side. Did not see any traffic police. Lastly, the Rajasthanis litter everywhere. Education and enforcement are needed.
