I was working in TCS chennai and got transferred to cochin last year. As the transfer process was very quick, I did not get enough time to sell my motor bike, and I took my bike to Kerala. When I approached one RTO office in Kerala to change my Vehicle registration, they asked me to go back to chennai and get the NOC from there. I tried doing it though my friend in chennai, but couldn't get it done. Why can't we bring a centralized system to achieve this ??

Make a fast track system or chain that connects every village(Farmers) to nearest city (Market) in low cost by using Gov transport like train. If Gov give a warehouses or place for maintain and store it properly and facility to supply it where it is needed,Than its makes low loss and if in this process wastage come out than it use for the organic farming.

Allow companies to procure farm produce directly from farmers thereby removing middlemen in the process. These companies in turn will have to manage storage / transportation as loss will be theirs if they don't do so. This will eliminate need of govt. interference which is marked by lethargy & corruption. Government need to ease farm land acquisition as private companies would require it for constructing storage facilities in remote locations.

if a person wants to open storage home or cold stores, govt must provide loan facilities n other facilities in order to have a large stock available. In india, the production is enough but wastage due to storage is one of the problem .first this has been solved. after that govt.must regulates the minimum prices given to farmers for their products .and also there r mini stores near vegetable markets. Also it must have good transportation facilities so that wastage during transport should b minimm

The first aim of a govt is to focus on inventory of these fruits n vegetables so that govt.has great stocks of these especially focus on the stock of fruits , onion potatoes ,tomatoes wheat etc. so that govt.can regulates the prices of these items during on season as well as off season. and perfect prices are given to farmers during production. To have control over prices first govt.has to open large no. Of storage houses cold stores etcwith full facilities of protection all over india.

There are number of things can be done. 1. Regulate transportation cost for commercial vehicles used for transportation and the fuel cost. This is indirect impact 2. Establish markets with cooler facilities locally. 3. Provide cooler vans for transportation 4. Provide real time weather information. This can be done through PPP by fitting weather prediction equipments and receive accurate weather data by fitting TAMDAR equipment. 5. Combine the minimum employment program with village farmer

Farmers who harvest Fruits & Vegetables expect at least a marginal profit,if not more. However, profits are eaten by middlemen such as agents.Proper Transportation, reasonable Price, avoidance of middlemen, will make sure that these products reach to the people & do not go waste.a single window type system wherein all these produce are bought at a reasonable price make framers happy.people will also get fruits & vegetables at a reasonable price.Local authorities should enforce such strict procedure

First and foremost we should have Area Specific real time data of the produce. A community of 500 farmers, Fruits and vegetable producing farmers, should be given loan to develop small scale cold storage and packaging facility at their vicinity. Such that they can store their produce and sell when required.
