Please allow bulk booking without filling the names in case of marriage. For example - If my sister/brother marriage is there, and I would like to book 40 seats but I don't know who will they be (in real case it happens and you come to know couple of days before the marriage which all relatives are going) so the irctc site should allow me to book the 40 tickets and let me fill the names 4 days before the travel or so. off-course some sort of proof should be required or something. Thanks!

Increase capacity of seats. Now demand is more than supply and public is unhappy about this. Increase no. of trains / berths / seats so that every citizen gets a ticket. The best way of increasing the capacity is to increase speed of trains. IR must ply trains at a speed of 200 kmph. This will earn more revenue and demand will be met. For this tariff can be suitably increased.

To improve the railways increase the no of rounds of trains, increase the speed of trains,arrival and disparture at time,make chair coach mostly,airconditioning in sleeper coaches. Make the railways semi govt,finish the TT system,distribution of tickets as metro,make all tickets online and offline both. By doing this, curruption in railway will reduce. In food management,force to distribute the packed food

भारतीय रेल की टिकट प्राणाली पहले से बहुत अच्छी हुई है पर कुछ और सुधर की जरुरत है , जैसे की हर टिकट काउन्टर पर एक कैमरा लगाना जिससे दलालों पर अंकुश लग सके क्युकी दलाल बुक्किंग कलेर्क से सेटिंग कर रहे है. अगर ऐसा हो तो लोगों को आसानी से टिकट मिल सकता है.

i am saying not about ticketing..but about plates used in railways to serve food..can't we use pattal plates made of leaves..for serving food in railway compartments..especially made by tribal villagers in Jayapur village adopted by our PM...or from any other part of the country

Why quotas are allocated to agents for seat booking ? This system is meant for corruption. Whatever seats are available after quota for agents only is available for booking to common people. With an easy online booking system in place, no ticket should be allocated to agents.

Ticketing System is now much better. However, the tatkal ticketing is too costly. Moreover, instead of increasing the reservation period from 60 days to 120 days, the number of seats and coaches should be increased.
