Sir, Maximizing the road usage. It is observed that max of footpaths are encroached by the shop vendors unnecessarily. Exhibiting their products on the foot path is not required. Hence, many people use road to walk. We can find dust on either side of the road which is slippery for the 2-wheelers. Roads are not laid properly at the side ends. Roads are uneven. A gauge is required to limit the shock amplitude during travelling. Tar roads are prone to loose its strength if water clogs.

The consumer protection deptt. wastes lot of money in advertising that a consumer should insist on bill as if, consumers don't want to take bill. It does not make law and does not tell the steps which a consumer can take against the shop keepers who do not issue bills. Pl. respond, if any one from Govt. cares about posts on this portal.

Sir, 1. Please allocate some budget to Tourism departments for cleaning tourist spots. 2. Entry to tourist spots have to be secured so that it increases safety as well as cleanliness. 3. Collect feedback at each tourist spot on cleanliness, safety. 4. Give target to Tourism departments to achieve good feedback score on cleanliness, safety.

We thepeople can can create the better India.When we are talking about the swachh india are we seriously taking the action for that .No not at all ,it is not the govt responsiblity but it is our nation and our responsiblity.We are not dedicated to our responsiblity why this is?

if solar panel is placed on the roof of e-rickshaws lakhs of units of electricity required to charge them can be saved . its environmental friendly too. 2 lakh e-rickshaws are there in only delhi. they use 5-10 units of electricity per day to charge their batteries. we can save 5 lakh units/day almost 25 lakh rupees/ day and 7.5 crore /month. solar panel will continously charge their batteries during working hour. without any pollution.

Choking of drains is an area that needs attention. Outside of the desilting activity that municipalities take out, it is notice that traders, hotel and other business establishments conveniently dump waste and garbage in to the drains leading to choking.

As CEO ZP of Palghar district , tribal district in Maharashtra, took initiative in which we have decided to observe one day in a week in each Taluka as cleanliness day for all villages in that taluka . On that day, every citizen will clean his house, toilet first and then lane gutters and road , schools, anganwadi ,public toilets and finally the entire village. This ensures the participation of all including village level government functionaries and keeps village and houses clean.

I feel we should have more dustbins. I am a Dadar resident and have observed that all the dustbins set up in the area are being used by the residents of the area. I understand that the Government has taken initiative in this regard and people have also started using the dustbins. However, there is a severe dearth of dustbins. I urge the Government to allocate a considerable portion of the budget towards setting up of dustbins. This will solve the problem of unclean roads to a great extent.

In cities as well as rural areas, one of the biggest contributor in making roads and public places dirty , is the habit of chewing Paan and spitting. I know it is difficult to ban Paan Thelas or selling of Paan but what can be done to minimise the damage , initially in cities , is to make it compulsory for Paanwalas to give a disposable paper bag along with paan, to spit. Paanwala can charge some amount for this. Women SHG's can make these bags out of old newspapers leading to employment.
