राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोग अधिनियम, 1990 के तहत जनवरी 1992 में स्थापित राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोग एक वैधानिक निकाय है, जिसके पास महिलाओं के संवैधानिक और वैधानिक अधिकारों की रक्षा करने का अधिकार है। महिला आयोग महिलाओं के सशक्तिकरण और समग्र विकास में सहायता प्रदान करने वाले कार्यक्रम की पहल करता है ताकि महलाओं की अवसरों तक पहुंच सुनिश्चित कर निर्णय लेने में सक्षम बनाया जा सके।

महिलाओं के खिलाफ हिंसा के उन्मूलन के लिए अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दिवस 2000 में संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा द्वारा शुरू किया गया था। यह दिन प्रतिवर्ष 25 नवंबर को मनाया जाता है। महिलाओं के खिलाफ हिंसा के उन्मूलन के लिए अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दिवस महिलाओं के खिलाफ हिंसा के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाने का प्रयास है। इस दिन का उद्देश्य महिलाओं के साथ दुर्व्यवहार करने वालों के खिलाफ आवाज़ उठाने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करके हिंसा की रोकथाम करना है। यह दिन महिलाओं के खिलाफ किसी भी ऐसी हिंसा को लिंग-आधारित हिंसा के रूप में परिभाषित करता है जिसके परिणामस्वरूप महिलाओं को शारीरिक, यौन या मनोवैज्ञानिक परेशानी होती है या होने की संभावना होती है। इस दिन का लक्ष्य समानता, विकास और शांति सुनिश्चित करना है। इसका उद्देश्य महिलाओं और लड़कियों के मानवाधिकारों की रक्षा करना है।

महिला आयोग ने अपने मैंडेट के मुताबिक और 'महिलाओं के खिलाफ हिंसा के उन्मूलन' के लक्ष्य के मद्देनजर महिला आयोग माईगव पोर्टल के माध्यम से लैंगिक हिंसा के खिलाफ चुप्पी तोड़ने पर सभी हितधारकों से इनपुट, सुझाव और प्रतिक्रिया आमंत्रित करता है, जिसका उद्देश्य लोगों के बीच समानता, विकास और शांति को बढ़ावा देना है।

1: Education =It is the most powerful tool through which we can empower women in urban as well as rural areas. 2: Awareness= Everyone should aware about the punishment regarding violence against women. 3:Campaign =Mostly in rural areas through organising campaigns related to women empowerment we can encourage women to be self dependent and stand for themselves.

Drawn lines from various angles women who are against the societal atmosphere are been under threat, who are within the limits are safe to the core. If we see violation statistics, men are behind a women violating law due to their own way of life. There are instances here and there which to be controlled through strict adherence. Above all Women to be respected in their own style which has no compromise. As well Men too.

I think in our country we still BELIVE birth boy or girl it’s responsible a women.we force them if they not give birth boy there is no room for her.BUT we should send this message to our society birth boy or girl only responsible by men which coromosome are decided.so why they punish women .this is the most important massages to tell society.

Here is a good debate, Elimination of voilence against women is the concept drawn from our ancient days. Women to be given respect as per the standards followed by their own style of living. Not every women is eligible to the drawn lines as we observe women who are still in their own drawn limits are respectable at every moment. Similarly MEN also to be protected in the same fashion as we treat both genders equal. Women should not ask for respect if they are under their limitations,

1. Men should be educated not to treat women or see women as sex toy but as equal partner or friend or as sister or mother 2. Strict punishments for acid or rape or any other major should be death punishment. 3. Separate lines to be maintained and distance wrto women in all public places and others 4. Women's dressing in some forms to be rethinked apart from taking it negative not all cases linked to these point 5. All places only mostly men found but women should also be there so safe

1. Increase reservation of women in parliament and state assemblies to at least 33% 2. The should learn one martial arts 3. Liquor prohibition 4. Providing govt schemes properly to women for independence in case of 5. Single women family should be respected and allow proper environment for development, societal change 6. Public places should be full of CCTV and guarded and blind spots to be eliminated 7. She police teams patrolling in busy areas 8. Discipline in marriage vows both

1. Punishment and false case claims should be treated properly as most of times policy and law is misleads by some to take undue advantage 2. Women should be free to inform relatives parents and police if so given the amount of violence 3. Most of violence is due to dowry or sexual or financial issues in family need to be addresses separately as all are inter related from literacy levels to unemployment and marriage laws 4. Uniform civil code to bring all under one ambit and advertisements
