राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोग अधिनियम, 1990 के तहत जनवरी 1992 में स्थापित राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोग एक वैधानिक निकाय है, जिसके पास महिलाओं के संवैधानिक और वैधानिक अधिकारों की रक्षा करने का अधिकार है। महिला आयोग महिलाओं के सशक्तिकरण और समग्र विकास में सहायता प्रदान करने वाले कार्यक्रम की पहल करता है ताकि महलाओं की अवसरों तक पहुंच सुनिश्चित कर निर्णय लेने में सक्षम बनाया जा सके।

महिलाओं के खिलाफ हिंसा के उन्मूलन के लिए अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दिवस 2000 में संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा द्वारा शुरू किया गया था। यह दिन प्रतिवर्ष 25 नवंबर को मनाया जाता है। महिलाओं के खिलाफ हिंसा के उन्मूलन के लिए अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दिवस महिलाओं के खिलाफ हिंसा के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाने का प्रयास है। इस दिन का उद्देश्य महिलाओं के साथ दुर्व्यवहार करने वालों के खिलाफ आवाज़ उठाने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करके हिंसा की रोकथाम करना है। यह दिन महिलाओं के खिलाफ किसी भी ऐसी हिंसा को लिंग-आधारित हिंसा के रूप में परिभाषित करता है जिसके परिणामस्वरूप महिलाओं को शारीरिक, यौन या मनोवैज्ञानिक परेशानी होती है या होने की संभावना होती है। इस दिन का लक्ष्य समानता, विकास और शांति सुनिश्चित करना है। इसका उद्देश्य महिलाओं और लड़कियों के मानवाधिकारों की रक्षा करना है।

महिला आयोग ने अपने मैंडेट के मुताबिक और 'महिलाओं के खिलाफ हिंसा के उन्मूलन' के लक्ष्य के मद्देनजर महिला आयोग माईगव पोर्टल के माध्यम से लैंगिक हिंसा के खिलाफ चुप्पी तोड़ने पर सभी हितधारकों से इनपुट, सुझाव और प्रतिक्रिया आमंत्रित करता है, जिसका उद्देश्य लोगों के बीच समानता, विकास और शांति को बढ़ावा देना है।

When a case comes out as false, it forces people not to believe true ones also. We need proper redressal system where false accusers are punished severely, to deter anyone from filing false case. Recent cases like Priyadarshini, Rohtak Girls, Sarabjit, Zomato, VIVO and many others reported recently came out to be false. False cases also snatches the Right of true Victims, by delaying justice delivery and adding to the burden of court cases. Misuse of law must have mandatory jail term.

In general terms, it manifests itself in physical, sexual and psychological forms, encompassing: intimate partner violence (battering, psychological abuse, marital rape, femicide); sexual violence and harassment (rape, forced sexual acts, unwanted sexual advances, child sexual abuse, forced marriage, street harassment, stalking, cyber- harassment); human trafficking (slavery, sexual exploitation); female genital mutilation; and child marriage.

The International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women will mark the launch of the UNiTE to End Violence against Women campaign (Nov 25- Dec 10) — an initiative of 16 days of activism concluding on the day that commemorates the International Human Rights Day (10 December). This campaign, led by the UN Secretary-General and UN Women since 2008, aims to prevent and eliminate violence against women and girls around the world.

Nearly 1 in 3 women have been abused in their lifetime. In times of crises, the numbers rise, as seen during the COVID-19 pandemic and recent humanitarian crises, conflicts and climate disasters. A new report from UN Women, based on data from 13 countries since the pandemic, shows that 2 in 3 women reported that they or a woman they know experienced some form of violence and are more likely to face food insecurity. Only 1 in 10 women said that victims would go to the police for help.

Respected Sir,I believe that poison kills poison.According to me the violence against women can be eliminated if women are given chance to work anywhere and every where and at the most odd times Generally the anti social elements are supposed to be active at night, let the women work at these times.When women are everywhere and in large numbers then even the anti social elements would think twice before committing a crime.Kindly create more women police force and bus drivers ,Taxi drivers etc.

वूमेन एंड चाइल्ड डेवलपमेंट राज्य के प्रमुख अधिकारियों से मध्य प्रदेश के अध्यक्ष से हमारा यह कहना है कि आप बताइए कि क्या साक्षरता दर गांव में आज भी कम की महिलाओं के स्वास्थ्य के प्रति जागरूकता गांव में विलेज में बनवा के आदिवासियों में आज भी कम क्यों हैं बच्चों और महिलाओं में बीमारी और किधर परसेंटेज कम क्यों नहीं हुआ है और यह बताइए कि आप सब जो है ना और वह खबर पर आपने खर्च किया है उसका प्रभाव उसका असर ग्रामीण क्षेत्र में आदिवासी एरिया में लिखने में क्यों नहीं मिलता है किसी भी तरह का कोई भी डेवलपमें

महिला और बाल विकास विभाग के राज्य के अधिकारी से हमें पूछना चाहते हैं कि योजनाओं का क्रियान्वयन प्रतिशत क्यों नहीं हो पा रहा है बच्चों को महिलाओं को सुरक्षा 100% क्यों नहीं मिल पा रही है इसके अलावा जो है पोषक आहार महिलाओं को हंड्रेड परसेंट क्यों नहीं हो पा रहा है इसके तरीके आंगनबाड़ी केंद्र में जो सीमाएं जो सहायता है जो जो योजनाएं संचालित होती है वह पूरी तरह से संचालित क्यों नहीं हो पा रही है और हम यह भी पूछना चाहते हैं मध्य प्रदेश राज्य के संदर्भ में कि इसमें जो है करोड़ों रुपए महिलाओं के नाम पर

In our country millions of woman and girl childs suffering from physical violence. To contol such kind of activities we should take some initiative: 1. Govt. Should include Marshall arts and any other self defence courses as a compulsary subject in new education policy . 2. Our law system should be improved,and this kind of cases must fast hearing in order to that our judiciary system have to up-to-date.we have lack of judges in our country that's why it takes long time to give justice .
