Sir, to develop good qualities we need good examples. In recent times there has been a paucity of exemplary leaders, world over. Children should be taught independence of discerning thought, discipline, strength of concentration, good communication skills, benefits of team work, respect for opponents, humility in victory & fortitude in the face of defeat from a young age. These are usually combined in extra-curricular activities, which are, unfortunately being replaced by computer addiction.
