Youth can potentially be an asset or a liability for a country like ours. It's imperative we turn this great powerhouse of potential into a 'National Asset'. As I see the beginning should be to drive 'Indian Core Values' into the Young Indians. Through my foundation called 'Nation Building Foundation' I have already initiated a strategically planned intervention to drive Indian Core Values into the rural / semi urban & urban youngsters through a 3 Hr high impact training session 'Power of One'.

Sir, Youth automatically look for a job upon completing their studies. Youth are aware of current social and economic issues of the society they are living in. If youth are "empowered" to conceive, develop and commercially offer solutions, many will come forward to do that besides looking for jobs. Exploiting existing skills is the easiest way. Ex. A simple skill like weaving baskets can be used to produce several objects of art! Vocational skills development makes it possible.

Sir, a spirit of oneness - united in nationalistic goals, empathy & respect for a fellow human being are essential in a civilised society. To better the lives of those around us is the highest spirit of humanity. Family, educational institutions, Scouts & Guides, NSS, CSR activities all go towards bettering society. Organisations like Ramakrishna Mission render yeoman service in helping the needy. Children should be encouraged to learn from & participate in the services of such organisations.

NGO,civil society are effective means of engaging youths.They should start a mass contact program to engage youths.They can also use social media for this .Various campaign with partnership of youths ,civil society and government can be done online.

first of all gov, ngo, or any civil society should aware people about different scheme they run for human development and nation development ...then gov should provides necessary info to people that how they join in as volunteer and which types of help ,supports they get from gov to work at grass root level..by this people easily understand their role &responsibility and ability that where &how they volunteer for nation building.

As a part of youth of the country, i personally feel that if we give real to experience to people of how the administration of the country works and what reforms are needed in the country and how this can be achieved. This can be done through organising workshops and other competitions in school and colleges. In this way we will be able to streamline the thoughts of the youth which is actually needed at this very hour.

They should do awareness campaign in school & college level. Also importance of social service should be tought in school. We can have a web portal which can be a link between volunteers & their area NGOs, social services.

We have an architectural research NGO that we started post Uttarakhand disaster, our main objective is To improve the quality of human life and our natural environment through holistic education, design solutions that are based on advance research & development and by facilitating practical implementation. We do this by creating socially relevant projects and than involving architecture colleges, architecture students and young professionals for its effective implementation.

It will be good if the details of all these are made available to all colleges, so that students interested can volunteer in the nearest available organisation. It'd be better if these would be promoted in social clubs/committees of all colleges where the college themselves take initiatives to hold events where students can volunteer in organizations of choice and also for the college's impression, make reports, share experiences etc
