Muncipal Corporation of Mumbai (BMC) has decided to develop comercial complex in a portion of Aarey colony. Aarey colony is the only green belt in Mumbai. Considering the fact that the air quality is really poor and below government healthy standards, citizens feel that this plan needs to be shelved.I think it is more important for people of Mumbai to breathe good air. Also there is enough space in Mumbai for commercial hubs and complexes. Can the Environment ministry stop this ?

Urban mass transport includes taxis, autos, buses etc. This are daily necessities. What if we convert all our autos and taxis into electric cars. Wouldnot it help to reduce CO2 and also our fuel bill. Our environment would be much cleaner. Drivers will also earn more. Offcourse we should use nuclear energy to fuel our electric requirements otherwise it is no point to stop spreading CO2 at one place and start at other.

I understand that mosquito-repelling oils (that run in electric holders in our living rooms) available in the market are not environment friendly. They are also harmful for our health. Can the government ask the private companies in this business to develop environment-friendly and health-friendly products in this segment?
