Handwork, i.e finger knitting, needle knitting, crochet, puppet making, clay work, woodwork, metal-work, stone-sculpting - is a subject of utmost importance starting from grade 1 up to grade 12. It is not just a subject for moving away from academics for relaxation, but the order of handwork activities as written here, is a class-wise curriculum. The importance of handwork is that it will create moral adults. Things done with hands can never be done wrong. This attitude only can stop corruption

Childrens must be taught about commen social rules & ethics. I don't remember if I had seen any school teaching that one have to give way to vehicles of emergency services like ambulance, fire brigade. From the very childhood one has to be told importance of these services. Basic traffic rules must be taught. Our PM's dream project of swatch bharat must be incorporated in syllabus & students must do cleaning of their classrooms. We should not make intellectual machines but sensitive INDIANS

White elephants(private school buildings, community halls, langar halls in gurudwaras, temples) may be used for developing sports in youth. This will ensure fitter generation and even encourage them to take part in sports competitions. They may even bring laurels to the country if given proper training.

Children should learn through Art Integrated Learning. It's the most powerful pedagogy to develop life skills as I realised during last 4 years while using art forms in our school.Art and crafts are the best tools to create interest in learning because children always love to participate in these activities and once we create interest in them no one can stop them to learn in best way.

Role of art & craft as well as design education has always been ignored in our education system. Where as art & craft education can be a tool for social empowerment. Not to mention that this approach would not only develop a skill in a child but also enhance his personality. The present status of art & craft education in school is very unfortunate, It has been treated as a subsidiary subject and is ignored by Govt. However the truth is, and studies show that creativity can be a powerful tool.

Our aim should be to have a generation of Educated, Skilled & Dedicated to our Motherland in place of Skilled labours. Focusing clearly at our AIM will drive our country towards Vishwa Guru. We want Great personalities in place of claver, skilled, blind followers/people which are being easily attracted by MNC's and foreign countries on high salary. Regards

I would like to suggest following changes while teaching the subject of music in the schools. Suggestions 1. Common syllabus for all schools for music as a subject. 2. Breakup of the syllabus in the modules. 3. Complete time line, for teaching the subject, for each academic year, in the form of lesson plan. 4. Common songs to be selected for teaching. 5. Main aim should be on ‘Corus singing’ while choosing the song. 6. Activity oriented teaching.
